The oldest and most highly regarded association of painters and sculptors worldwide who convey through their art the creatures that share our planet. Jay J. Johnson has been a Signature member since 1990. He was a member of the Executive Board from 2005 to 2009, and he has served as a juror for the Society's annual exhibition. His paintings have been incluced in many of their exhibitions and their national museum tours (see exhibition list in "Artist's History." The AFC is an international, non-profit organization of world-class artists who share a common interest in nature art and nature conservancy. Members showcase their artwork on the AFC's web site and at an annual exhibition held at the Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum in New Jersey, while promoting conservation through sales, education and special initiatives.
